【摘要】:ThispartofISO/IEC13818specifieshowtestscanbedesignedtoverifywhetherbitstreamsanddecodersmeetrequirementsspecifiedinparts1,2,3and7ofISO/IEC13818.InthispartofISO/IEC13818,encodersarenotaddressedspecifically.AnencodermaybesaidtobeanISO/IEC13818encoderifitgeneratesbitstreamscompliantwiththesyntacticandsemanticbitstreamrequirementsspecifiedinparts1,2,3and7ofISO/IEC13818.Characteristicsofcodedbitstreamsanddecodersaredefinedforparts1,2,3and7ofISO/IEC13818.Thecharacteristicsofabitstreamdefinethesubsetofthestandardthatisexploitedinthebitstream.Examplesaretheappliedvaluesorrangeofthepicturesizeandbitrateparameters.Decodercharacteristicsdefinethepropertiesandcapabilitiesoftheapplieddecodingprocess.Anexampleofapropertyistheappliedarithmeticaccuracy.Thecapabilitiesofadecoderspecifywhichcodedbitstreamsthedecodercandecodeandreconstruct,bydefiningthesubsetofthestandardthatmaybeexploitedindecodablebitstreams.Abitstreamcanbedecodedbyadecoderifthecharacteristicsofthecodedbitstreamarewithinthesubsetofthestandardspecifiedbythedecodercapabilities.Proceduresaredescribedfortestingconformanceofbitstreamsanddecoderstotherequirementsdefinedinparts1,2,3and7ofISO/IEC13818.Giventhesetofcharacteristicsclaimed,therequirementsthatmustbemetarefullydeterminedbyparts1,2,3and7ofISO/IEC13818.ThispartofISO/IEC13818summarisestherequirements,crossreferencesthemtocharacteristics,anddefineshowconformancewiththemcanbetested.Guidelinesaregivenonconstructingteststoverifybitstreamanddecoderconformance.Thisdocumentgivesguidelinesonhowtoconstructbitstreamtestsuitestocheckorverifydecoderconformance.Inaddition,sometestbitstreamsimplementedaccordingtothoseguidelinesareprovidedasanelectronicannextothisdocument.
