【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesatestmethodforplasticsforthedeterminationoftheheatreleaserate,ignitability,surfacespreadofaflame,fallingdroplets/particlesandsmokeproductionusinga“medium”scalespecimenthatsimulatestheearlydevelopmentstageofthefire.Thistestmethodcanbeusedasascreeningtestforintermediatescaleandlargescaletestsinadditiontoitsuseinfactoryproductioncontrol,researchandproductdevelopment.Thistestmethodprovidesdatathatissuitableforcomparingreaction-to-fireperformanceofmanymaterials,products,compositesorassembliesunderenduseapplicationconditions.Theresultsofthistestmethodarelimitedtospecimenswithheatreleaseratesoflessthan10kW.
