【摘要】:Thistestmethodisusedtodeterminethetimetosustainedflamingandheatreleaseofmaterialsandcompositesexposedtoaprescribedinitialtestheatfluxintheconecalorimeterapparatus.Quantitativeheatreleasemeasurementsprovideinformationthatcanbeusedtocomparewallorceilingcoveringsandconstructionsandforinputtofiremodels.Heatreleasemeasurementsprovideusefulinformationforproductdevelopmentbygivingaquantitativemeasureofspecificchangesinfireperformancecausedbycomponentandcompositemodifications.Heatreleasedataobtainedbythistestmethodwillbeinappropriateiftheproductwillnotspreadflameoveritssurfaceunderthefireexposureconditionsofinterest.Variationsinsubstrates,mountingmethods,andadhesivesusedtolaminatecompositeproductswillpotentiallyaffectthetestresponses.Thesevariablesmustbecontrolledduringanycomparativeexperiments.TestLimitations8212;Thetestdataareinvalidifanyofthefollowingoccur:Explosivespalling,Thespecimenswellssufficientlypriortoignitiontotouchthesparkplugorswellsuptotheplaneoftheheaterbaseduringcombustion,orThesurfacelaminaterollsorcurlswhenplacedundertheradiantheater.Thespecimensaresubjectedtooneormorespecificsetsoflaboratoryconditionsinthisprocedure.Ifdifferenttestconditionsaresubstitutedortheend-useconditionsarechanged,itisnotalwayspossiblebyorfromthistesttopredictchangesinthefire-test-responsecharacteristicsmeasured.Theresultsarethereforevalidonlyforthefiretestexposureconditionsdescribedinthisprocedure.1.1Thisfire-test-responsetestmethodcoversdeterminationoftheignitabilityandheatreleaserateofcompositesconsistingofawallcoveringorceilingcovering,asubstrate,andalllaminatingadhesives,coatings,andfinishes.Heatreleaseinformationcannotbeusedalonetoevaluatetheflammabilityofwallcoveringsorceilingcoverings.Thedataareintendedtobeusedformodelingorwithotherdatatoevaluateamaterial.1.2Thistestmethodprovidesformeasurementofthetimetosustainedflaming,heatreleaserate,peakandtotalheatrelease,andeffectiveheatofcombustionataconstantinitialtestheatfluxof35kW/m2.Heatreleasedataatdifferentheatfluxesarealsoobtainedbythistestmethod.Thespecimenisorientedhorizontally,andasparkignitionsourceisused.1.3Thefire-test-responsecharacteristicsaredeterminedusingtheapparatusandproceduresdescribedinTestMethodE1354.1.4Thetestsareconductedonbench-scalespecimenscombiningthecomponentsusedintheactualinstallation.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.See.1.6Firetestingofproductsandmaterialsisinherentlyhazardous,andadequatesafeguardsforpersonnelandpropertyshallbeusedinconductingthesetests.Thistestmethodpotentiallyinvolveshazardousmaterials,operations,andequipment.1.7Thisstandardisusedtomeasureanddescribetheresponseofmaterials,products,orassembliestoheatandflameundercontrolledconditions,butdoesnotbyitselfincorporateallfactorsrequiredforfirehazardorfireriskassessmentofthematerials,products,orassembliesunderactualfireconditions.1.8Firetestingofproductsandmaterialsisinherentlyhazardous,andadequatesafeguardsforpersonnelandpropertyshall......
