【摘要】:Theinformationprovidedinthisstandardguideisintendedforusebydesignersandspecifiersofsiphonicroofdrainagesystemsandtheirrelatedcomponents.Specifically,thisguideaddressestheuseandlimitationsofplasticpipeandfittingsinsiphonicroofdrainagesystemswhereinternaloperatingpressuresaretypicallysub-atmospheric.1.1Thisguidecoversdesignandinstallationconsiderationsforplasticsiphonicroofdrainsystemsforindustrial,commercial,public,andresidentialbuildings.Requirementsformaterials,pipe,andfittingsareincluded.1.2Theinterchangeabilityofpipeandfittingsmadebydifferentmanufacturersisnotaddressedinthisguide.Transitionfittingsforjoiningpipeandfittingsofdifferentmanufacturersisprovidedforinthereferencedpipeandfittingspecification.1.3Inrefereedecisions,theSIunitsshallbeusedformetric-sizedpipeandinch-poundunitsforpipesizedintheIPSsystem(ANSIB36.10).Inallcases,thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.
