【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversmineralfiber(rockorslag)insulatingandfinishingcementshippedindry-mixform,includinghydraulic-settingbinder,which,whenmixedwithwaterandappliedinaccordancewiththemanufacturer''sdirections,affordsasmoothsurfaceasafinalfinishforheatedsurfacesupto1200176F(649176C)forspecificapplications.Theactualtemperaturelimitshallbeagreeduponbetweenthepurchaserandthemanufacturer.Note18212;Precautionarymeasuresshouldbetakenwiththismaterialaswithotherhydraulic-settingmixtures.Thismaterialshouldbeusedwithinthetimeperiodrecommendedbythemanufacturer.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.3Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethod(Section10)describedinthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.4Whentheinstallationoruseofthermalinsulationmaterials,accessories,andsystemsposesafetyorhealthproblems,themanufacturershallprovidetheuserwithappropriatecurrentinformationregardinganyknownproblemsassociatedwiththerecommendeduseofthecompany''sproductsandshallalsorecommendprotectivemeasurestobeemployedintheirsafeutilization.Theusershallestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatoryrequirementspriortouse.
